Spiritwear
"When I started Spiritwear, I was living in Abilene, and traveled to Dallas regularly to see my Mom. During one of those trips, I bought a small embroidery machine and started doing appliquéd letters on sweatshirts, in fabric that coordinated with matching boxers and flannel pants. I wanted to do all of this really big stuff, and my little home embroidery machine was all that I had to work with at the time.

Deborah Jones encouraged me, and helped me turn my ideas into embroidery, despite the limitations of my equipment. She helped me get the designs set up, rotated and saved them to the memory cards that worked in my machine. When I went to craft fairs, she helped me with how much to take and what I should charge.

I was getting more and more business, and every couple of weeks, I stopped in to see Deborah at her embroidery shop, where she helped me on my latest project.

I continued to grow, moved to Dallas, and eventually rented a small shop on Main Street in Richardson. I have now purchased that original shop, have four embroidery machines, added heat applied graphics and surf wear. I love what I do, and Deborah helped me reach my goal of quitting my traveling job and doing my embroidery full time. " - MJ Shockley

CC&ME
Let me introduce us. I am Ginger Griggs - the CC and I am Martha Kinney - the ME. Together we are CC&ME. The name of our company comes from our maiden initials. When we started we were both working in a law office about 60 hours a week but had a dream of doing something fun and creative. We started doing sweatshirts and drill team shirts. At first we had a contract sewing person but it was to costly to travel to where she was and make a profit. That was when we found Deborah Jones and bought our first machine. It was a small home machine with a 4”x 4” sew field.

Travel Pillow

Since that time we have progressed to 6 home embroidery machines, 3 sergers and 2 commercial sewing machines. We manufacture our own line of towel wraps, makeup bags and totes and sell to about 80 stores across the United States. We have grown our business slow and steady over the years. We thank Deborah Jones for her wonderfully helpful advice, faith, and support over the years.
